Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) play a pivotal role in celebrating cultures within United, with memberships growing to 52,696 in 2025. Executive sponsorship underscores our commitment to amplifying a variety of voices and perspectives.

Employee engagement and feedback

As we strive to continue to be an employer of choice, we believe that it is critical that our workforce is encouraged to provide feedback and is informed, as well as engaged. We recognize that our employees are the cornerstone of our success, and their insights and experiences are invaluable to our progress. Below are two examples of the types of engagement programs United offers.

Employee listening program

To ensure that we are listening to and leveraging the voices of our employees, we have implemented a comprehensive employee listening program to maintain a pulse on employee sentiment and what matters most across our global operation. This includes regular town hall meetings, focused group discussions and other location-specific feedback mechanisms that allow for open and transparent communication across all levels of the organization.

Employee sentiment measurement

We measure employee sentiment through annual surveys, pulse checks and feedback mechanisms that are designed to gauge the effectiveness of our internal policies and practices. The insights gained from these tools inform our decision-making processes and help us to identify areas for improvement.
